I’m Cassie Ramus, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Clinical Supervisor here at Tandem Behavioral Health. I’m also a Board-Certified Clinical Supervisor, approved by the Virginia Board of Social Work to support individuals working toward licensure in the field of social work.

Since earning my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Michigan State University in 2016—where I was inducted into the Phi Alpha Honor Society—I’ve worked across a wide range of settings, including emergency rooms, in-patient psychiatric hospitals, detention centers, crisis stabilization units, schools, community programs, and outpatient therapy. I became licensed as an LCSW in Virginia in 2019 and have been passionate about helping others navigate their mental health journeys ever since.

Throughout my career, I’ve supported clients facing depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, relationship challenges, stress, grief, low self-esteem, anger, and substance use. I truly believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care without judgment, and I’m committed to breaking the stigma around mental health. I’m also dedicated to mentoring new clinicians and helping them grow with confidence and integrity in their practice.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, our two children, and our fur babies. I also enjoy relaxing with some of my favorite shows and scary movies—it’s my favorite way to unwind!
